An online thesis review is a reading of your draft that you request and receive over the internet, with no meeting on campus. These options do different jobs:

Two limits apply. Many centers serve only their own community. An online service holds your draft, and it can contain participant data or unpublished results. Look for a named company and a contact address, read what happens to your file and check that it isn't used to train AI models. Ask how long the file stays and how you can have it deleted. A review is in English, whatever language your text is in, and passages quoted from your text stay in their original language. Esmond isn't tied to one country, and it isn't offered in every country.
An AI review doesn't know your school's rules, doesn't open your sources and does no language editing. It can contain errors, so check each comment against your data. An online reader also won't know the history of your project the way your advisor does. Use a review to see what to bring to your advisor, and leave the decisions on your thesis to your advisor and committee.
